The majority of visitors travel to Coll on a CalMac ferry from Oban. In the summer there are daily sailings from Oban, everday except Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Tiree and Thursdays from Barra . The journey from Oban takes between 2.5 and 3 hours depending on which vessel is in use.

Alternatively, you can fly to Coll from either Connel (nr Oban) or Tiree, landing at the recently opened airstrip in the west of the island. Scheduled flights are by Highland Airways for timetables & booking. For private flights please see here for landing details.

A popular way to visit Coll is to sail and Coll sees many visiting yachts throughout the summer. There are 6 moorings in the shelter of Arinagour bay, owned locally. £15 per night.

The hotel has it's own helipad in the garden where visitors often drop in for lunch. Please phone ahead so we can ensure a safe landing.
